Choreographer Özlem Alkis and philosopher and dance scholar Maren Zimmerman invite performers, artists, and guests from other disciplines (medical and social science) to a two weeks “ECHO-chamber” for research: commonalities, differences and conditions of capitalist and aesthetic production of capital, bodies, values, norms and their interdependence with production of forgetting and cracks. This first ‘ECHO-chamber’ is the beginning of a longer collaboration of Özlem Alkis and Maren Zimmermann looking at obsessions and ideologies of forgetting, functioning and remembering through, of, with, from (dancing) bodies in order to develop from here on adequate figures and systems for thinking and moving.
