Dust Devil

A body is sucking the air into her lungs until the lungs can not move any more. Then the air whistles out sometimes as a storm comes down over the mountains, sometimes as a puffing that the childrens play with eachother.  Suddenly three performers turn into three crazy-unexpected-magical dust machines and they fill the theater with dust clouds.

Dust Devil is a type of a light whirling wind, a natural phenomenon which in some cultures is also associated with the spirits of the dead.  It is a motif for a dance in which movement and sound merge to one another. A visual and an aural landscape -picture and sound, silence and movement- emerges through the dancers bodies in diverse intensities.
